Our Story

Founded by Matt Roberts to leverage his 20+ years of R&D tax credit experience and partner with amazing software solution providers like Kipsi to deliver simple but substantive R&D tax credit studies to all the amazing companies.

Our founder:

• Matt spent the first 12 years of his career in the “big 4” helping companies scope, document, calculate and defend their R&D tax credits.

• Matt left the big 4 to focus on serving the startup and middle market - consulting with taxpayers all over the U.S., including serving as the lead tax technical expert for a large Series A venture-backed startup offering R&D services to taxpayers primarily in the tech startup industry. 

• Matt continues to be an R&D tax credit thought leader and also serves as Advisor to several companies working in the R&D tax credit space.
